Registration Fees:
The fee this year is $45.00 per child and goes toward N.K.S.L league fees, insurance fees, and end of season banquet/awards.
$10 Late fee to the N.K.S.L if you sign up after 6/26/2008

Mike Bresser Scholarship:
This scholarship will be given out again this year to a senior swimmer or diver at the Champ Meet. The N.K.S.L is trying to raise funds to be able to give out more than one scholarship each year. Each club has been given a goal of money to raise toward this scholarship. Our goal is $500 which amounts to about $5 per family. We are not requiring you to give, but would appreciate any amount that you would like to contribute (contributions are tax deductible). Please make your checks out to the N.K.S.L. If we meet our goal, the team will get an Ice Cream treat from the N.K.S.L.

Corporate Sponsorship:
The N.K.S.L is also soliciting businesses to help keep costs down across the league. Bluegrass is responsible for contacting 2 Businesses. This money will help defray the cost of Champ Meet and Insurance for the swimmers and divers. Some may also go into the scholarship fund. I have a complete presentation prepared by the league. If you know of any business that would be good to contact, let me know. Also, I understand that Toyota will donate $ to any nonprofit organization that your child is involved with. If you are a Toyota employee, I can get you some information on this.

Meets:
Dive Meets are every Tuesday except the week of the 4th of July beginning at 6:30.
Swim Meets are every Thursday beginning at 6:30.
Home Meet Warm-ups are 5:15-5:45. Be there at 5:00.
Away Meet Warm-ups are 5:45-6:15. Be there at 5:30.

Senior Swimmers and Divers:
Senior swimmers and divers need to fill out a biographical information sheet ASAP! We also encourage all to apply for the Mike Bresser Scholarship. This requires writing an essay and getting letters of recommendation. These are due by 7/2.
Practice Times: Note: the practice times below are subject to change (any changes will be communicated.
Swim Team Practice Times:
11 and over – 7:30-9:00 Monday through Wednesday
10 and under – 9:00-10:00 Monday through Thursday

Diving Team Practice Times:
11 and over – 10:00-11:00 Monday through Wednesday
10 and under – 11:00-12:00 Monday through Thursday

It is mandatory for all swimmers and divers to come to practice in order to participate in meet. Those who swim or dive for other clubs, need to talk with their coach. If your child is going to miss practices or a meet, please talk to their coach.
